About the Artist

Una is a native of County Mayo, Ireland, and lived in Central Florida until 2020, when she permanently moved to Carmel, Indiana. Una has painted for over 35 years in the West of Ireland, France, and the United States. She is a Limerick School of Art and Design graduate who studied at The National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland.

Una's artwork is an exquisite fusion of her Irish heritage and profound love for nature. Her creations are a testament to her deep connection with the land, sea, flora, and sky, reflecting her admiration for the splendor of nature.

She designs large-scale abstract paintings, drawing inspiration from the landscape and her imagination. Her pieces exhibit vibrant colors, textures, and rhythms that give them a sense of movement and flow.

Una's unique style is a captivating reflection of her free-spiritedness and her remarkable ability to capture the essence of her subjects. Each piece is a journey into her world, inviting the viewer to explore and interpret her art in their unique way.

Some of the most renowned artists, such as Jack Butler Yeats, Henri Matisse, Jackson Pollock, and Georgia O'Keeffe, have influenced her work.
